Hello ya'll. I'm looking for some real velocity numbers and loads for the 6x6.8. I'd like to run a 90-95gr varmint/hunting bullet at around 3000-3150fps, in a 22-24" barrel. What say ye?

I'm out of pocket until Friday and can look at my numbers. You will not be getting 3000 out of a 95 without straining. We have been shooting coyotes with 58's at 3600 or so that is devastating. A 70 TNT would also be excellent. I'll have to look at big game bullets I've worked with. Greg

Thanks Greg, I appreciate it. I am currently trying to decide between a 6x6.8, .243LBC or a .25x6.8, I found lots of data online from you and crazysccrmd. He is able to launch a 90gr SGK at 3k, out of an 18" barrell so I was hoping to do similar with the 6x6.8. with a longer tube.

I've got a ton of stuff we can discuss. Each cartridge has pros and cons.

Awesome lol sell me on the LBC. I already have an AR in 7.62x39, So I have some mags that will work already. I'd ideally like to run 75-95gr varmint bullets as this will be a midwestern groundhog infestation eradicator. with occasional paper punching duties. I hear the LBC can reach 2950 with 105's?
