Hi All,
I have a question that I was hoping could get answered. I am building a AR Pistol that's going to be chambered in 300BLK, that will eventually be suppressed. I already picked out a handguard, the Fortis Nightrail 10.5" (https://fortismfg.com/ar15-fortis-night-556-rail-system-10-MLOK). I noticed on Columbia River Arms website that they can build a 10.5 barrel for 300Blk. Since I'm afraid that since the handguard and barrel are the same length, there might not be enough clearance when I install eventually install a silencer. I figured I could request a custom barrel build that 11inch for my Fortis Nightrail.
And before anyone ask, I know they offer 12.5 inch, but that would defeat the purpose of doing the AR pistol build with a short barrel.
My question, has anyone built a 300BLK with an 11 barrel before. And what Gas system would you recommend. Should I stay with a Pistol Length Gas system like their 10.5 barrels or a Carbine Length since it's going to be over 10 inches

I'd stay pistol length gas. As to length of the tube call them up and they might accommodate you on that.
