I picked up a 264lbc/6.5 last month from Billy and finally got a chance to get it sighted in. The wind was howling during the day but needed to get it dialed in to use that evening. Started at 50 yds to get on paper, then moved out to 100. 1st shot at 100 is the high right one, shots 2,3,4,5 are just left of bull, and 6th was just right of bull. After first shot I made a big adjustment, then that group of the next 4 left me grinning for quite awhile. I made a little windage adjustment and fired the final 6th round and was happy for my evening hunt. I did call in a triple that evening but right when I saw the first start to come out of the tree line the rain started again and wind was back to a gale and swirling. Out came 2 more and they dropped behind a swale at about 200 yds and popped out at about 125 yds straight in front of me, as I got lined up on the one in the back the wind hit my back and instantly they turned and bolted to the far side of the field. No chance at a shot then. 18" barrel, crowned, Spikes Lower, Moe Furniture, Springfield Armory 4-14x40, Hornady 123gr vmax factory load. No blood on her yet but will be back at it hard when I get home next week. Very impressed with the way she's shooting already. Will start working up some loads when I get back also.

Nice 4 shot group, are you using handloads?

Nope Kevin, their factory Hornady loads, 123 grain V Maxes. I've got another 6 boxes so I'll stick with these and also try out some lighter bullets as well as order more 123's to load myself. Definitely can't complain about the grouping factory or hand.

I will as soon as I get home Wednesday. Only pics I have right now are some crappy ones in the hotel room from New Mexico.
I got some 140 gr A Maxs, and 3 different powders to try out delivered and dies are on the way. Still gonna try some lighter bullets too just haven't found them in stock, just like the 123 gr A Max. But have plenty left of the factory loads she seems to like just fine.

After getting the upper from Billy I swapped out the smooth forend for a quad rail for mounting a light for night hunting, attached the Spikes Lower with Moe stock and a fat body Ergo grip.

Sweet looking set-up...Did that lower come that way w/ the multi-color fill on the spider logo.
Looks great overall...best of luck w/ it.
Any velocity numbers on it yet?
