Lowers are all internally the same:
QD (Quentin Defense) or Mega Machine 7075 Billet Geissele SSA-E or 3Gun (depending on the purpose) triggers G&R Tactical lower parts kit - minus the trigger group/trigger guard Magpul MIAD grips (modular and customizable depending on purpose).
For bench: UBR (Magpul) or PRS stock (light to heavy) For hunting: A2, CTR (Magpul), or EMod (VLTOR) - order is light to heavy For "tactical": EMOD hands down.
Uppers are a different story, but typically follow the same pattern:
Bench: 16-20x scopes, scope rings/fixed non-quick detach, free float tube of some sort, smooth usually, light as possible, eg: Hogue, DTech Freefloat, Apex Machine Hunting: Apex Machine, Troy/VTAC TRX Extreme "Tactical": Daniel Defense Lite Rail or the new Centurion Arms, 12"
Flash-hiders: Typically suppressor mountable: OPSInc, Surefire, YHM, or AAC. These allow use with or without suppressor. BattleComp is also available now. Top notch there as well. Hadn't tried the Dragon head yet.
Anything I missed?
I like my ARs, and have had all kinds of systems implemented. I have come to the conclusion that hunting, you need something that both balances well, but is not very heavy to carry around. The heavier the barrel, the heavier the stock needs to be to offset. However, if you add a heavy barrel, big scope and heavy stock, you're in a heavy gun. So, pick what you feel is most comfortable to you.
enjoy.

I only posted my current in progress build, my other two are as follows This is a 16" carbine that i intend to switch barrel on soon to a BHW, I use this one for competition mainly, but have dropped my 1st coyote with it. and this is my varmint rig, shoots sub 1/2 MOA at 200 yds, used successfully on prairie dogs so far out to about 500yds.

Thanks for sharing. I especially like the lower one, with the Mega lower. I'm a huge mega fan. They make the 80% for a local company Red River Tactical. Same gator finish etc., just a texas name. However, the Mega roll mark is a good one. I like it a lot. My next 6.8SPCII will be a simple hunting platform, using a VLTOR Emod, and free float, with 18" barrel. Will sport some some good optics as well. Something that is fixed and not something needing to be removed quickly. However, the 300 AAC Blackout will be a 9" barrel, carbine style handgard (railed), and will be on a Mega lower as well. Good stuff man. Got the wheels turning again!!!

Everytime I see those Mega combos, It just makes me go and get one or two or even three sets...Then file for bankruptcy.
