Thank you BHW ;D Love the barrels and have another one on the way from your another authorize retailer. Your barrels are top notch and love the product.
Below is a little review I did on AR15 forum I'm on.
I recently took delivery of my Addax Recon Evo 16" mid length BR. I owe a big thank you to Chris, Lale, and the crew at Addax for putting a great rifle together :thumb: and putting up with me My BRD started 1/25/2012 and expanded to other types of "D's" PRD & RD (soon I will be shooting my own reloads) are my other favorites.
The fit and finish of the Addax Recon Evo 16" DI BR is flawless. Everything fits tight, no gaps, and clean. The only upgrade I made to the rifle is the Trijicon Accupoint TRG-24G 1-4 and a Magpul MIAD grip. The Samson hand guard is perfect fit for my hands. Not bulky or too skinny and don't think I need a VFG at this time.
Took the rifle out to Angeles Ranges to zero in the scope. I set the target out to 50 yards and started getting the BR on paper. The BR was supported only by my pack. I was able to shoot about 30 rounds and cleaned the barrel after every 10 rounds. IMHO I really like shooting this rifle and is now my favorite 16" BR to shoot. Accurate out the gate and I believe the groupings would be better with a more experience shooter. Once zeroed I had no problem hitting metal out to 200.
The trigger looks to be from a mil-spec LPK. The stock trigger is really good. No gritty feeling or creep. Although the trigger feels heavy (normal for mil-spec) it feel solid and crisp. You don't get that gritty feeling on some mil spec triggers. I didn't take apart the trigger but I believe they may have polished some parts of the trigger group and that may have resulted in this nice trigger. I'm on the fence wether I should keep the trigger or upgrade to Gisele 3 - gun trigger sitting in my safe. For now I'm happy with the trigger and extremely pleased with the overall performance from the Addax Recon Evo 16" mid length rifle.

Target was set to 50 yards and shot with my pack supporting the BR.
Top left of the target you can see 1st five shots out of the Addax BR. Next 5 shots was after adjusting the optics. Had 2 fliers due to rookie mistake.
Best 10 shot grouping for the day. Had 2 fliers due to rookie mistake. Ran out of time before I could get the scope fully zeroed.
Looks like I'm not the only one that likes the Addax Rifle. Meet Tuki my room mates dog. Friendliest dog ever and yes thats how he sleeps majority of the time.
LOL. I tried to take the rifle but he gave me that look that it was his. May need to get a plastic one for him. Who knew dogs get BRD.
