With the variety of fluting and other stock removal patterns on the barrels offered by BHW, I am wondering what are the differences in weight?

My guess is not much. I would think going 1" shorter on barrel length would take off more weight than fluting the whole barrel.

I'm not sure on the exact weight differences, but I think I recall Janelle (the awesome lady here who does all the Fluting designs for BHW) saying that the difference in weight is only really a matter of a few ounces.

I really like the twist fluting, it just looks awsome...I am also considering that dragon brake as well, even though I am not a big fan of muzzle brakes, seems like a lot of guys here seem to really like them.

you will love the Dragon head it is awhole different break compared to the everyday Muzzlebreaks, I love the way it pushes all the sound away from you, Makes a world of difference on Short barrel guns.
