The bushing has absolute minnum float and the die is against the shell holder pretty hard the shoulder is not being bumped as for grinding the shell holder its a Forster press. I checked several resized cases and they chambered fine not unless it's a big deal I'm gonna load them up and go with it can't wait to see how this thing shoots!

With a Forster press you may well have to cut the die off. All dies that I know of were designed to work with a standard shell holder. If you have .040 left on the neck, and all the float has been adjusted out of the bushing, you will have excess room on the shoulder. You will need to bump the shoulder, .003-.004 after every firing so the gun will feed properly.
Just got my 243lbc up and running. I made my initial brass based off this thread, lapua brass, Redding bushing die, etc. I am on my second loading now and have a small issue. Since I'm not using the expander in the die, if my case mouth is dented it is not resizing back to round. Did I miss something do I need to change my die setup? See my pics below.
Thanks in advance,
Btw - have just done barrel break in so far. Shot at or below 1" for almost all of my 5 round groups. 20" standard profile, 1x8 rifle length, shooting 105 amax.
The he one on the left is before sizing one on the right is after.
If they dent you must round them out. I use a 243 expander mandrel or just run them up in a bigger 243 to push the expander through the the neck to round them back out.
One way to help this is to put a VELCRO square on tour shell deflector. It will cut down about 90% of the case damage. I use 7/8" squares of the stick back black. Fuzzy side not the loop. It blends in so well you don't even notice it and the brass is much better for it.

Thanks for the info. Do I need to use another die or add the expander to the 6.5 die I'm using? Gonna do the Velcro mod today.
Thank you
J
The 6.5 die is fine as long as you have a 243 expander in there. I just run the case up over the expander until I feel it pop into the powder chamber and then back out. Just so you aren't trying to size the necks down and pull it back. You really want to work the necks as little as possible
