What are the load specs? Do you have the block setting AWAY from yhe shoulder? You can pull the block and look at the carbon ring to assure you are properly aligned. Also make sure there is no metal burr protruding into the port occluding it. Greg

Another thing to check is the bolt and carrier. I had one from Radical that the inside of the carrier was so rough the rifle wouldn't run well. Swapping the bolt into another carrier solved it. I used the rough carrier in another rifle that was over gassed and it has since smoothed out.

Here is a photo of my gas block. Looks like some gas is leaking out the front, is this normal or does it need replacing? Any suggestions on replacement. Load is a 105 amax 8208 rem7.5 and lapaua brass. Thanks J

I would go adjustable and get my drill bits out if I still had issues. Greg

GLshooter I am in the process of an Ar-15 build and cannot find a 6mmAr or 243lbc barrel and bolt. ARP doesn`t know when his will be in. Whitley will not return phone calls or answer emails.

waterfowler You may want to seal the gas block with locktight and see if that helps. Make sure u do not get it in the gas port.

So you are ordering a BHW barrel then? Order up a 7.62X39 BCG from RGUNS and enjoy. Ritch designed this one before either of those other two did and they sure shoot well for me in 500 yard matches. What have I got going on here? About 10% of my brass is starting to do this (Lapua see photo). It's building up a little ridge at the bottom of the case. Thank you J

Over gas letting the case expand more than normal and then sizing down does this frequently. Get the bolt opening delayed snd this will go away in most situations. I use adjustable gas blocks for so I can do that. Additionally your dies might be on the small size. Minimum and maximum tolerances cause interesring challenges like this.
